1. Use of the website
This site provides information about Jackson Square Event Center ("JSEC") and lets you request tours, sign up for communications, and contact us. Content is provided "as is" for general informational purposes; specific bookings are governed by your individual booking contract.
2. SMS messaging program (TCPA + CTIA)
JSEC operates an SMS messaging program for clients and prospects who voluntarily provide their phone number and explicitly opt in via the SMS consent checkbox.
- What we send: tour confirmations, appointment reminders, event-planning updates, payment reminders, document requests, customer support related to weddings, quinceañeras, sweet sixteens, baby showers, and other private events.
- Frequency: varies; typically 1–4 messages per month per active inquiry.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. CANCEL, END, QUIT, and UNSUBSCRIBE are also honored.
- Help: Reply HELP or call/text us at (956) 320-7757.
- SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase, booking, receiving event services, or scheduling a venue tour. You may inquire about events, schedule a tour, and receive transactional email follow-up without opting in to SMS.
- Audit trail: We capture timestamp, IP address, and user-agent at the moment of opt-in to verify consent on request.
- No third-party sharing. SMS consent and phone numbers are never sold, shared, or transferred to any third party for marketing. Not included in custom-audience uploads to advertising platforms.
3. Email program (CAN-SPAM)
- Email marketing consent is optional — it is not a condition of receiving event services, booking a venue tour, or completing any purchase.
- If you opt in, JSEC sends venue updates, event-planning content, and promotional offers.
- Frequency varies; typically 1–4 messages per month per active inquiry.
- Every marketing email identifies JSEC as the sender, includes our physical address, and provides a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Unsubscribe any time by clicking the link in any email or by emailing [email protected].
4. Tracking pixels and targeted advertising
The site uses cookies and tracking pixels including the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), Google Analytics 4, and Google Ads conversion + remarketing tags. By using this site, you acknowledge these technologies. JSEC may use the resulting data to:
- Measure marketing campaign performance and conversion attribution
- Build custom audiences and lookalike audiences on Meta, Google, and similar advertising platforms
- Show you JSEC ads via retargeting after you visit the site
- Improve site performance and content

5. Bookings, payments, refunds
Specific booking, deposit, payment schedule, and refund terms are agreed in your individual booking contract with JSEC. These Terms govern only the website, the SMS program, and the email program.
6. Intellectual property
The JSEC name, logo, photography, written content, and site design are owned by Jackson Square Event Center and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or use any of it commercially without written permission.
7. User-submitted content (testimonials, reviews, photos)
If you submit testimonials, reviews, photos, or any other content to JSEC, you grant JSEC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content for marketing and operational purposes. You represent that you own or have permission to share what you submit.
8. Acceptable use
- No scraping, automated data collection, or commercial reuse without permission
- No attempts to bypass security or access non-public areas
- No submission of unlawful, threatening, defamatory, or abusive content
- No interference with site operation
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The website and communications are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Venue services are governed by your booking contract.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JSEC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website, the SMS program, or the email program. Total liability for any direct claim arising from website / communications use is limited to $100.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold JSEC harmless from any claim arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the website, or (c) any content you submit.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved first through good-faith informal discussion. Any remaining dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cameron County, Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
13. Changes
JSEC may update these Terms; the effective date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect. These Terms together with the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and JSEC regarding the website and the SMS / email programs (separate from your booking contract, if any).
